    Mission:

    The university’s mission is to educate highly qualified experts in the field of health care and social sciences, who represent an enrichment for the Latvian society, the European Union and the rest of the world.  The knowledge, skills and qualities that the students acquire during their studies comply with all USA and EU standards, correspond with the humanistic tradition, and contribute to the construction of a basis for lifelong learning. Its mission is also to develop scientific measures in order to maintain the status of the university as an excellent scientific university in the field of nature sciences.
